at Forthcoming Storage Developer Conference

FREMONT, Calif. — September 6, 2007 — Panasas, Inc., the leader in parallel clustered storage solutions for the High Performance Computing (HPC) market, today announced that the company will be presenting a development status update on parallel NFS (pNFS) at the Storage Networking Industry Association’s Storage Developer Conference, to be held September 10-13, 2007 in San Jose, Calif.

In “An Update on Parallel NFS,” Panasas Senior Software Architect Brent Welch will provide a high-level overview of the pNFS protocol extension to NFSv4, coupled with a description of the benefits of parallel I/O architectures for grid computing.
